exactly! I dare to bet on this one!

  2. Dammit!! I like Mumford and Sons just fine, but feels like USA is getting screwed not getting Noel Gallagher... (That makes me sound a bit spoiled doesn't?)
  3. I think they will also play Exit again with some adjusted lyrics, But I think they will definitely play Silver And Gold.
  4. Could they get away with the big 4 plus one or two others? Does that justify a JT specific show? Plus all the usual more modern big hits and it's pretty much just a standard show. I'd love them to recreate the old style stage maybe. Have a proper old schools end stage setup. I wouldn't complain if they do a mini 20th anniversary Pop anniversary set in the same show.
  5. Maybe they'll just do a couple of songs.

Reading some of the rumours it seems that they only do this show to compensate LiveNation for the lack of shows in 2016. So they had to come up with another reason to do shows because Songs of Experience was not ready. Then the Joshua Tree anniversary came to mind..

It is because of the lack of shows in 2016, not 2015.
And my guess is that these anniversary shows will not be part of the Innocence+Experience tour. Because they are not ready to release SOE.

The JT stage set was basically just a huge backdrop of The Joshua Tree, so it won't be hard for them to set up. As for setlist, I'm curious. Even if they do album in entirety, the length wouldn't be a full set. Do they break out the b-sides? Do they incorporate Pop? Or do they pull out the heavy hitters? Never a dull moment in U2inverse!
  8. My guess:
Spring and Summer 2017: The Joshua Tree 30 years anniversary tour, outdoors. No new songs.
Fall 2017: Release of Songs Of Experience
2018 Return of Innocence+Experience tour indoors

Well, for U2 setlists we can always speculate but it will usually be safe so don't expect Pop or NLOTH to make an appearance.

My bet is on 6 songs from the Joshua Tree, some other songs from the 80s and some big hits such as Vertigo. Happy to be proven wrong though
  11. ^ I agree with around six JT songs. I was listening to Red Hill Mining Town and unless they drastically rework that song, wow, Bono won't be singing it

  12. Just because I so like this meme.
