When they realized the album wasn't ready on time for their 2016 tour, they recicled that photo session for whatever project they had upcoming. That was the TJT30 Tour, and they found a pic that ressembled 1987's TJT cover, so they used it.

    Where's the big problem?
And they were posing in JT style for SOE. And they use it for JT30? They had no SOE in mind in september 2015. We can wait forever.

There are more photo shoots inspired by the JT shoot so I don´t see your point.
I you have Corbijn´s photobook U2 & I you find more pictures who are inspired by previous ones

They had SOE in mind back in Sept 2014 when they released SOI. It's in the official announcement for SOI, signed by the band.

We’ll keep you posted. If you like Songs of Innocence, stay with us for Songs of Experience. It should be ready soon enough… although I know I’ve said that before…

I wonder for how many more posts this will go on...
  4. I thought U2 liked to reinvent themselves. And now we're getting this crap...
  5. Thank you for your emphatic opinion.
  6. I'm not the only U2fan at this forum who asked questions about this. Anyway I will wait for the Dream It All Up Again retirement announcement tomorrow.

I don´t think Bono is lying. On purpose. He´s Bono and he is about the worst person to ask anything concerning U2´s future plans.

They took pictures there and I am sure we will see more them in the future. And I wouldn´t be surprised if they took shots alike TJT-cover there too.

The Joshua Tree is such a great album! I am really looking forward to hear the songs live that I haven´t heard live before!

This might truly be the Introduction to Songs of Experience.

SOE is coming and I really hope for a 2018 tour.

Dream It All Up Again - They´re saying goodbye.
  8. Hold on to that feeling my friend. One person less in line for highly wanted tickets.
  9. The band is going to deliver a kick ass stadium show to meet high demands for tickets, just like that.
  10. My big point was; I´m so happy that they tour. And I´m sooooo hoping for a 2018 tour aswell. I, for one , am gonna enjoy all of this while it last!!

A part of me wants to think this way too Glad to see your enthusiasm!
  12. Guys come on, be happy, after 40 years we still have U2. They have worked hard enough IMO. For many this is the best album ever made, of course they will do something special with it. Many of us werent there when the JT tour was around so maybe we can still visit this tour now. SOE will come this year, maybe its not how they want it to be now, Im sure there is a good reason it takes so long.
