1. Desire, IWF and Vertigo prob don't need rehearsing much.... just a quick run through I suppose 1 or 2 days before.
  2. But if they're going to the effort of rehearsing 21 songs why not just through them into a rehearsal, it would only take an extra 10 mins.
  3. The extra songs rechearsed secretely are Mofo, Gone, Sleep like a baby tonight, staring at the Sun (full band), This is where you can reach me now, Do you feel loved, Crumbs from your table and Kite.
  4. Mofo should open all encores, and dedicated to the biggest Mofo of capitalism still Alive
  5. OMG CRUMBS!!!!!!
    PLEASE PLAY IT!!!!!!

  6. That's what I want, Like A Song the opener, following by NYD and SBS. Acc to me they neverplayed it. But why not now, it's also a War song. That makes the crowd happy. MLK after Pride looks better to me. MLK tunrs into Streets. It's just a suggestion. Maybe they are opening the European shows with a Boy song, like Out of Control. The encore ends with "40" 2,5 months waiting for A'dam, it's such a long time.

They played 'Like A Song' in Dundee 1983, just before '40'.
  9. O.k. maybe a few times, if you saw them playing it you're lucky. Anyway they hardly played it. I prefer 11 o'clock tick tock too or any other non album track. But I think, you must be luckyif they play some of these songs. But ofourse ASOH is amazing, I never saw it.

Just the once I think at that Dundee gig - I wasn't being snarky btw - just letting you know theres a gig you can hear if you haven't already where they've played it.

And don't get me wrong I'd love to hear it too, so many older songs and rarities I think many of us would love to hear, probably zero chance of ever hearing Like A Song though I would imagine.

Which makes me think... if U2 had not become as massive as they did in 1987 to 1993... let's say they stayed maybe about as big as they were around the time of War / Unforgettable Fire, and if they stayed that way till now - you know the same kind of success as a band like The Cure, SM, Depeche Mode etc. - big but not supermassive - I bet there would be more chance of them playing rarities and digging up deeper cuts all these years later like those bands do quite often, but I think because they're so big nowadays they'd just never do that kinda stuff. It's a pity really. We can only hope it will come at some point.
  11. A guy here with some allegedly insider information said that the band was going to play 3 songs from SOE. Could it be that they are rehearsing 2 more songs in private, and intentionally teasing us with The Little Things?

I kind of suspected we'd hear at least two new songs this tour, but I doubt three new songs at a single show...

I think there's a decent chance that the songs we haven't heard are mainly familiar, really - IWF, Vertigo, Desire, OOC - and probably a few deeper cuts. I have a feeling they haven't rehearsed some of them out loud is because, IIRC, they have an 11.00 PM curfew.
