If you HAD to cut a tune , then thats the one to cut no ?

MLK into BTBS sounds odd , as if its missing something...maybe because it is .
Assuming the sound qualities are at equal level, I'm making a 1987 Paris/NYC mix in the very near future. No Streets in one; no Bad in the other. Tsk. Tsk.

These Disc 3 mixes are indeed pretty silly (overproduced).
  2. BTBS Remix if my favourite remix, amazing!
  3. Is not this the first single from The Joshua Tree?
    It's amazing!!

  4. Is SBS on the live concert edited during the bridge part?
  5. That voice.
  6. I got the deluxe cd set and I haven't even listened to anything yet, but I'm living for all the extras in there. the huge booklet, the individual pictures, EDGE'S BOOK. I'm living for this stuff.
  7. Madison's show is insane, fantastic, and the best thing about this 30-year special edition...
  8. 2 of the best songs to cut.
    Very odd
  9. remixes:
one tree hill - loving the slow, choir-like dreaminess that's going on here and edge's guitar chiming in eventually.

bullet - blows me off my feet! lee put another driving beat on top of it, added a badass filter to bono's voice, edge's layered solo is so cool imo I wonder whether that's possible live? and oh, that robot voice at the end

running - again, very dream-like. gotta love how crystal clear bono's voice is.

red hill - liked it a lot when it was released, still not sold on the horns, but the rest is great!

    wowy
    - feels like a lullaby to me, but in all the good ways! it just carries me away, beautiful. this one has strong million dollar hotel vibes.

streets - well, this is the worst out of the bunch to me by far. I like the idea that flood singled out bono's vocals and put them in the foreground, which seems such an unusual idea for streets, but he didn't push it enough. bono still sounds muddy/underwater most of the time, there's no real high point happening here. too bad.
