  1. i found a movie on the internet what was made by a american pastor Joe Schimmel. Hey says that U2 is against god and for the devil.

    I don't believe a shit of what he says.

    Anyway, I wouldn't believe it. I quit the video after about 35 seconds thinking "What a crock of shit".

    Obviously he's been looking at Macphisto and thinking "Oh yeah no doubt they are for the devil" a) because he IS a devil. See, some people (including this Pastor) think things are true, but in fact aren't true. Do we have an address for him to tell him what we think???

    Don't believe the hype.

    I don't think songs like 'Desire', 'All I Want Is You', 'Bad' etc are against the devil. Far from them. And Bono is always talking about his beliefs in God, and the three in the beginning (was it Bono, Larry and Edge???) were mad Christians (they even joined some religious group).

    Otherwise the churches wouldn't be playing their songs now, would they? And most Christians I know (I'm not right up there myself) think U2 are great. Be interesting to hear what his favourite artists/bands are, wouldn't it?

    exactly, I'm a born again Christian and I think U2's music and efforts are great. My bible study teacher likes U2 and thinks they are just awesome. Some of these Pastors don't have a clue where the meaning of the lyrics came from. Most of these words in each song came from the Bible. And for them to judge 4 members or anybody that their nose doesn't belong, isn't very Christian like.

    But you know, i think we shouldn't worry about this because U2 doesn't really care about criticism or judging how to make music. They don't want their fans to be in a boxing match against a hater like Pastor Schimmel.
    So let them hate on U2 but when it's the haters time, they will get the long end of the stick.
