I reckon Adele with those x4 Wembley nights would have beat U2's x4 Zooropa nights at the old Wembley.

4 x 98.000 is impressive by any standards

Not bad for producing 3 identical albums !

Could be I guess, as maybe they would have still been packing Adele away Mon/Tues, by which point perhaps U2 soon need to be setting up give or take a couple of days.

Personally the cynic in me reckons they've gone for it as it's probably a shedload cheaper being in the back end of beyond (sorry to any locals reading, you know what I mean its not the easiest place to get to compared to Wembley).

Anyway, I'm still pumped, TJT b-side in under a week's time - I'd have never thought in a million years.

Cool I've only heard the one, I can skip the other two then?

Not sure this is the reason - the Saturday before Adele's Wednesday concert Jeff Lynnes ELO played Wembley Stadium and the Saturday before that the Stone Roses played.

Maybe its to do with costs? Twickenham surely cheaper.
  5. Is it not to do with the amount of gigs that are allowed there each year??
  6. If it is then Spurs must've lowered that amount cos they're playing there next season....
  7. I think it's just a case of the JT tour having been planned late. There are all sorts of agreements as to numbers of gigs and the impact on the locals residents, security etc. Twickenham is a bit of an arse to get in and out of, but it's a really good ground and well-run, the surrounding areas are pleasant and I think fans will enjoy it.

I'm far more daunted by driving to Croke Park two weeks later to be honest!
  8. Cool!
  9. Maybe time for some rehearsals after all.
  10. I have one spare GA available for London 1, PM me if you're interested.
