2017-07-08 - London
Tour: Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 4
Videos: 1
  1. The Heroes snippet was so good.
  2. Good concert !! I missed the streaming, but hey, the videos will let me see it completely. I'll see you in a while for the second concert.

  3. Just back in Devon after all night travel, What a show Heroes in Bad brought a tear as a massive Bowie fan. Exit was sooo good and even the much maligned encores seemed to go on for ever. Best U2 gig in ages
  4. Twickenham 1 was ace..Really quite wonderful, stunning visuals. Niw can stop the whole 'What's wrong with Bono? Thread. The answer is: bugger all ! They were on stadium form.

Gruelling in the heat and humidty though, close to B stage. Quite a few people flaking out but looked after. Twickenham priced the usual pain ti get back from. 2 hours to Tower Hill ! 3 hours tio home.

  5. Sorry not to meet with you guys, was dashing in and out with friends. I'll catch you in 2 weeks
  6. What a night ! What I show ! I was frightened by all the comments I've read before the show....and I can tell now: EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG ! That was absolutely amazing !
  7. ''They raced through Beautiful Day, Elevation and Vertigo - three songs that exposed how U2 stopped soul-searching in favour of stadium-filling in the 21st Century.''

    They aren't wrong, you know.
  8. That Heroes snippet in Bad was amazing!

the set list certainly after TJT could be so much better
  10. the most accurate description of those three songs you'll ever read. Though god knows what that makes Coldplay? Maybe what comes out the other end after a happy meal?
