So that is really really bad news in my opinion, so the collectors are ignored (I think the bunch of those are hardcore U2 fans)...

It was something they did on their own and extracting the audio from the video file.
On the contrary, "You're The Best Thing About Me" will be available from the 6th , NOT in physical format but in digital format. It will also be distributed to the radios so they can play and promote the song and the album.
This is a tiny difference but big enough to consider "You're The Best Thing About Me" a single while "The Blackout" can’t be included in that category despite it was aired first.
