1. "Grace is the name of a girl"
  2. Achtung Baby......ok fine you're right..damn it.

But even then, people hated it when it came out. People here have already attested to that.
  3. Ok.
I dont want analysis or freudian subjects corrections. I d just wrote my feelings. Dont want or hope some encouragements from anyone, thank you.
The positive thing is that i can spend good times listening the 34 U2 concerts i've recorded in audio since 1997.
  4. It wasn't hated but i find that the best U albums are growers It takes awhile to understand them to appreciate them. Also seeing them live helps to appreciate them.

NLOTH is probably the most recent example of an album that has gotten better with time. I'd say every song except for Boots has increased in value to me. Even then I still think Boots live is fantastic.
  6. See, this is why opinions are fine! Because I'd take the three songs we've heard from SOE over everything on NLOTH any day.
  7. I have ranted about people's expectations before on here and all the needless chat about "relevance". People need to realise that this is U2 now and that they are never going to release another Boy, another Joshua Tree, another Achtung Baby or another Pop; it's never going to be outright experimentation. It's because of the times that U2 approach these sounds and textures. And I'm going to say this for one last time on here, be thankful that you have new music by them because this could be their final album.

People are just far too judgemental. Just because you're on a U2 forum and you go to several shows, it doesn't give you the right to condemn their new music and feel as if you should have a say in their creative process. They've surprised us numerous times, spoiled us many times and we're still gracious about the fact they can pour a lot of energy into live shows (see i+e). I found a lot of the selfish comments boring on here, I just skipped through the pages. It got too repetitive. I can appreciate people's opinions, accept them, whatever. You either love or hate it; but whatever your preference, don't try and force it down another one's throat just because their opinion contrasts yours.

I like the song, I like The Blackout. Little Things I can give or take, but we haven't seen these songs live yet. If you think differently, I totally accept that.
