10-4. I still love it. And the mix they put out. Not the sci-fi soul mix. Hopefully it sounds good live. And although i bought the new single on itunes, I won't buy SOE as part of my silent protest.

Well, in that case, The Best Thing about SOI is Cedarwood, Wolves, Reach Me Now, and Troubles... And I don't like Volcano, I love it as well.

SLABT and California are great too, and obviously, the studio version of EBW is wonderful.

Best album since Zooropa for me.

yeah will be about an hour still because of an american football game. really needed to go to sleep early tonight for work tomorrow, the performance would have been now but because of the delay i'll have to watch it on youtube tomorrow. bummer

Listened to this song on repeat all through my commute today. Absolutely loving it and have no issues with the mixing from the iTunes single. This song has surpassed The Blackout and The Little Things in terms of my favorite from SOE thus far, but we have yet to hear the album versions of those songs.

Glad you're enjoying it so much. It's still third place for me but that's not bad at all. The Best Thing is an excellent pop rocker. It's no secret U2 have always had pop sensibilities, all the way back to their genesis. But they rarely, for better or worse, seem to test their poppiness quite this openly. It's a breath of fresh air (not that they needed a change from SOI or The Blackout, just it's nice to get a variety of music).

Still can't get past the first translation to chorus. The drums actually easy up! I want that bass drum to kick my ass when it goes into the chorus.
