1. Like it! Video also looks like it going to be fun

    yes. also, a lot of people now praise Pop and Zooropa for its experimentalism etc., let's not forget U2 was actually at the time trying to make a big pop record...and in retrospect are more dismissive of these records 'because there were not hits on them'
  3. I hear IEM audio, which is odd.
  4. If this is played toward the end of the tour, whoever mentioned three songs being debuted on the tour wasn't lying.
  5. Yeah, the monitors are using the click-track/countdown.

    I think it sounds pretty good. So much better than The Best Thing.

    When I heard it yesterday, I was disappointed to have another (slow) pop song. I wanted a rocker. But now that I've listened to it again, I think it might be better than The Best Thing.
  7. U2 don’t, never have and never will sound like Coldplay. I like Coldplay but I think if you hadn’t heard a u2 or Coldplay song and you even took the vocals out it would be very evident in songs which band was which.
  8. I think this is a very refreshing song. Gives me hope for the new album in a way You're The Best Thing About Me didn't, exactly.

    Between this and the Blackout, I've heard two pretty decent songs and one "B-side" that for some reason is going on the actual album.

    Coldplay = U2 Lite

    If U2 made elevator music it would be Coldplay.

    Ok. Let the lambasting begin. I won't back dowm.
  10. Still not sure how anyone can really form an opinion from that windswept snippet...
