1. My theme songs are Staring at the sun and Stay.
Staring at the sun: reminds me that im never alone: 'you're not the only one, Staring at the sun'.
Stay: someone who is faraway can still be so close. even if he/she is dead or in a coma.

non u2 themesongs are Wonderwall by Oasis, Shiver by Coldplay and Overcome by Live.
  2. Crikey, great topic idea!

U2-wise, I really can't think of any song that genuinely fits my life all the time, although ones like One, Beautiful Day, The First Time, Still Haven't Found, Streets, Kite etc. all have certain elements within, but really the only 2 songs I can think of that truly fit are "Protect and Survive" by Runrig and "Fix You" by Coldplay. I'm always thinking about other people and keeping an eye out for those who I hold dear, and I think they are fairly accurate for me.

If anyone has any suggestions about U2 songs they think fit, let me know

Fix you is a great song. Slow start but a real rockin' end. It's a good themesong

Glad you think so I love watching the video they released with it, where the riff kicks in on stage (a riff which happens to be one of my favourite, too) and Chris Martin rushes on and starts waving the torch - so uplifting

EDIT - just read your own theme songs, two really good choices and I can see why you picked them

You mean the 'Live in Toronto' vids?
That entire concert is great. Fix You is indeed great, but Clocks, Talk and God put a smile are nice too

I have absolutely no idea lol, I remember seeing it on a music channel on TV when that album came out, but I really need to get hold of more Coldplay stuff
