  1. I’d never complain about an abbreviated set. I’ll wait for the tour to start to complain
  2. Is this on any UK tv tonight?
  3. The set as I would of done it

    One
    UTEOTW
    Bad / Bowie snippets
    Blackout
    Stay
    In a Little While
    Little Things
  4. I would have went for

    Blackout
    Best Thing
    GOOYOW
until The end of the world
    New Year’s Day
    Stay
    Discotheque
    Little Things

Very unrealistic without proper rehearsal time but it’s not going to happen now anyway.
  5. to be fan doesn't mean to approve everything they do , imo.
Since 1987 means from JT tour the only one, POP and Zoo tour are later in the years. But anyway anyhow if you like all that rubbish shows i don't mindi. I prefer to remember them in great rock concerts , bye bye to everybody, you all are to young to judge, sorry.
  6. My issue with the setlist is that it was too safe to be a promo gig and too boring to be a greatest hits gig. It wasn't either the one or the other. SOE is around the corner and that was an opportunity to show the new generations that U2 was not a legacy act by playing Blackout and even (sighs) American Soul, Little Things, what have you. Instead they retreated to the same old hits. OK, whatever, but why not play Bad with some nice snippets? They have Exit well rehearsed and fresh in their minds, why not showing these kids the amazing U2 catalog? You can see that I'm not asking for the unthinkable.
I get the feeling this gig was only an excuse to film yet another GOOYOW video.
