theres an artist I really like, most of you won't have head of him. Badly Drawn Boy.
he decided he was sick of bands taking 4 years to make an album. he wanted it to be like the 60's and 70's when artists a new album out every year or 2. He made 5 albums in four years. and they're 5 of the best albums I own. fantastic stuff.
wish U2 could be like this! but i as long as they keep producing the goods im not gonna complain to much about the waiting. and sure they take 2 years to tour each album by the time they get around the world anyway and I don't think many of us here would give up those live shows in favour of a new album!
