I know you want to make good use of TM option for relisting tickets, but I hope you can also understand that many of us think that exactly this option is one of the main reasons why we're currently in such a mess with the presales.

The thought is this: TM will take a percentage (I believe a 10% commission) for each transaction on their secondary market (seatwave, stubhub, getmein, etc). Purely from a business point of view it seems to be in their interest to have as many sales as possible on their secondary markets.

And guess what? After two days of U2 "presale" there are more U2 tickets than ever on these secondary markets...

PLEASE think about this and if you do have spares, please offer them via our 2018-06-09 Uniondale NY <<ticket>> section.

    Thanks!

Agree. Basically, TicketMasters resale site is their hypocritical "legal scalping" site. They're saying it's ok, as long as you sell here where we can take a percentage...

Please offer your tickets here to a fan...
  2. Was going to hold onto my code for second night announcements but I'm not trusting anything this time around (who knows if I'll even get a code for those shows with this lottery nonsense. Gave in and got 2 lowers near the stage for Newark (row 16.. They weren't absurd at $350 either). My eXPERIENCE was terrible. Been a paying member since propaganda. They put me in innocence. After countless calls and arguing to U2 dot crap they moved me to experience. Experience presale rolls around, I got nothing. Innocence rolls around I get a code. Try to get GAs and there's absolutely nothing for any venue. Newark isn't even the venue that I wanted (Philly was). Philly has nothing for innocence unless you looking to drop $370 a ticket (fucking insane). So at the risk of being shut out completely I bit the bullet and got half way decent priced lowers for Newark and probably screwed myself by using my code. What a terrible few weeks this has been.

  3. if everything will be confirmed when we have european dates, we must write all together and discuss with energy about those crazy things, do you agree?

I think we should organize as fan community and file an 'offical' complaint with a list of all the things that have gone wrong, and with recommendations how to do things better

That work is in progress already I can say. We as U2start.com are collaborating on that. I think something public will be made soon.

Great! If help is needed, don't hesitate to mobilize the forum members.

Also - dreaming out loud - I think the troubles/concerns should be made clear to the band members & managers, and not only to LiveNation. We know they are in London right now.....
  7. I'm not in the US and don't plan on buying for the US leg but ...

1/ The lottery thing is outrageous, other tours, we always had our codes in our member section.

2/ The Citi presale is so out of this world, why the hell on earth gives it you the right to access a band presale and to have the chance to book 4 tickets instead of 2 for fan club members...

I hope i'm wrong but i feel like the band doesn't care much about it...

Do note though that Citi presale comes last in order. So if the Innocence presale already had almost no tickets, then Citi presale for sure has almost none left. I doubt many can even find 4 tickets in the very same row or category..

Agree with you , but what i can't stand is the City presale itselfs.
Why a bank customer is more privileged than one from another bank ?

Hmm I'm not sure that is true Remy. In the past it happened that f.e. no GA's were available anymore in the first group (eXPERIENCE in the upcoming tour), while they were available again for the second group.

We might find out from members who also have a Citi presale.
  12. careful citi pre sales being last does not mean a lack of supply...you could only by tickets from your pool.experience group can not buy innocence tickets and vice versa.
we do not know the size of citis pool.we do know that live nation is selling tickets through stub hub and through ticketsnow (live nation owns ticketsnow)
