1. The Little Things sounds particularly muffled in the recording I'm listening to, but god that crescendo is (still) fabulous ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

And I actually celebrate that the piano is gone. As much as I love him trying, The Edge isn't a skilled piano player, and a great song like this one shouldn't be killed by poor piano playing!
  2. I like that in the studio version of Little Things, you can hear the big guitar riff from the end faintly at the beginning, a nice little flourish

Yeah there is some muffled sound in the later songs in that recording.
Can't wait to hear the album audio.

I missed that But as I was saying, the recording I'm listening to sounds as if was made from London when the vinyl was playing in Johannesburg

    Indeed!

So there's those (really surprisingly good, standout) three.

There's standard U2 (not necessarily bad): Best Thing, GOOYOW, Blackout.

The album version of Little Things, which is quite something.

The first two, that are also really good.

    And there's more!
  8. Haha, oh man. I just got to The Blackout again. Having listened to the rest of the songs on the album, The Blackout must feel like this:

  9. Is there a better version out there than the first recording?
  10. Good drums from this album.
  11. Bono is sounding very good here.
