  1. I think that since not everyone have heard the songs yet and since leaks can’t be shared, they shouldn’t be discussed.
  2. Summer of love and red flag day I would say are the 2 songs that are real growers. I already liked them to begin with but they get better with every listen.
  3. The official release couldn't come sooner. I can't wait to hear everything in high quality, all turned up loud, so that my whole house is shaking with the spirit and emotion of these songs.
  4. I will wait till Friday to hear the new album. Since it is an official release.
    And I have to say I am rather disappointed that the moderaters of U2start haven't made an effort to delete any posts that have encouraged users to hear the leak of an official release. And then to be part of the discussion about songs heard.
    I know some users will find this post as some sort of sour grapes and that is not the case, I believe there should a level of respect for the band we all love.

    Do you really think anyone who has listened to the “leak” isn’t also buying the album? What does this have to do with “respect” anyway? I would think U2 would be pleased that we’re so happy about a bad quality recording and even more excited to get our hands on the actual release. Nah, they’d probably label this group of U2 fans breaking the rules and digging the album early as “punk”.

  11. I don’t think the individuals who run the site have ever said they are against listening to the leaks just that they can’t be shared in here for legal reasons. Also I’m sure they would encourage us to also pay for the album which the majority of us will be anyway.
  12. Yeah, I literally have the vinyl being delivered on Friday. $35 already came out of my account for the record, so listening to the leak (at least for me) is pretty justified hahaha
