  3. Hope so, but the Irish dates will eat up the first half of November. Assuming a quick break afterwards, they would have to cram Australia, NZ and any Asian countries all into 4 weeks. Easy enough if it were a stadium tour - 1 show in all major cities. But some cities would need 3 arena shows. Fingers crossed they actually do come here.

    U2 massive rock crowds in general are nowhere as crazy as they used to be. The fact that rock audiences are getting older with no or little generational change, and the plague of mobile phones are slowly killing the atmosphere that you could see in the 80s, 90s, early 00s DVDs of crowds jumping and bouncing up and down for most of the show. France is no exception to that, and there was also the "little issue" of 130 people being killed at a rock concert 2 weeks earlier, too.
    I was there, both Pre and Post Attacks.
    I've seen multiple dates of IE and those Parisian where among the best!
    The way the crowd kept singing ooo-oooo-ooo (Miracle style) during the encore pause was just amazing! They were the loudest crowd I've seen that tour!
    So dare to disagree.

    French like to push but they are among best - from my experience (3 tours in Paris) even better than italians in Torino!

  8. the problem in Europe is, because of our EU laws you cannot pin the ticket sales to only one vendor. I guess pretty much it's eventim here, ticketmaster there etc etc. and mostly countrywise, they operate seperately though they belong to one company in the end. That will be impossible to maintain a verified thingy, also because credit cards are not as common as in the US, I can pay via bank account, too and that won't verify me, but in EU I do have the right to choose....complicated.

    I guess there will be paperless tickets for GA again, probably.
