    Fingers crossed for this time....

Although I don't buy these War/Pop rumours, until I see it. If they really start with War/Pop I guess we end up with SBS & NYD again on the setlist.

But maybe I'm too realistic pessimistic when it comes to U2

Come on! They will play Pop back to back! And War! And SOE! And the best songs from SOI. It's a certainty
  3. If they play stuff from Pop, then happy days.

    If they dont, they don't.

    What will be will be.
  4. If there’s one way to make this year feel like a different show to 2015 then playing some material from Pop is a sore way to do it.
  5. I am more than ready to be disappointed setlist-wise, with very similar structure to 2015 (~7 songs from SOE at the start of the show mixed with some 90s, then 10-12 hits to follow up and finish the show). I just want them to feel it, to perform with passion and joy. Having my fav band touring after 42 years is a gift. I just want to enjoy that. Everything else is accesory.
  6. Not just Pop, I'd like it if they kept in some SOI, threw in some NLOTH and deep cuts. Some Days Are Better Than Others, New York, you know the rest. That'll make me buy a couple more tickets, because I'm currently sitting on two shows max and the only way I'd buy more is a surprisingly delicious setlist.

I wouldn’t really have a problem with the structure remaining similar. First half of the show I can definitely see being SOE heavy although I think Love is bigger and little things will be kept for later on in the show. I just hope the older classics are different ones, bullet could be left out for zoo station to make an appearance, October out for staring at the sun. I’d imagine invisible will be out and don’t see EBTTRT so that’s room for the Fly and discotheque. There’s plenty of room for manoeuvre and it still wouldn’t make the Setlist a hardcore fan only show.

Sounds like two shows max lol. Setlists are getting safer and safer

SOE heavy first set? I'll be in the bar.
  11. You don’t think it will be?Blackout, Best Thing, American soul, GOOYOW, Lights Of Home are all likely to feature in the first half of the show I’d say, I also fancy red Flag Day to be in there but if not that one then probably at least 1 other. As I said earlier I think Love is bigger and little things will appear later. That would be about normal for u2, 8 new songs in the set especially when the album they’re touring features a career highest 13 songs.

Nah, I do. Probably the same as SOI, five or six songs.
