It's an excellent start of the show with People Have The Power on the PA system. With Bono and the crowd oh oh ho ho hoos. And a better song than Get On Your Boots. I also don't understand the hype thing, why everyone prefers SOE over SOI. In my opinion the quality of the songs are decent for both albums. But they don't belong to my favorite U2 albums.

This is a completely different animal, bringing a new show out on the road supporting a new album with its own completely separate campaign.
I just can't even wrap my head around the idea that the show would include a standard 5-8 songs from the new album and then another, what, 4-5 from SOI? So half the show would be music from the last 4 years? That would leave them 10 or less older songs. You know they'll play Beautiful Day and maybe Elevation, almost certainly Vertigo and/or COBL...so we think there's going to be a U2 show coming to town that includes just 5 or 6 songs pre-2001? The math just doesn't add up! C'mon.

I understand. But remember it will be the Experience + Innocence tour. Otherwise they would have called it The Songs Of Experience Tour.
