  1. Or just drop it anyway because it’s a good song but they have loads of better songs. I think bullet has definitely suffered from being overplayed. Not only do I not want to see it on E&I but I really can’t be bothered listening to the song in general unless I’m doing a full run through TJT and even then it’s the one I’m least interested in. The only other time I hear it is when I watch or listen to a full show. To me it’s another really good song but not great, definitely doesn’t deserve to have been played as much as it has when you compare it to something like the Fly which has missed loads of shows.
  2. As much as I'm tired of Bullet The Blue Sky too, I'd 100% count on it being included as a staple in E&I setlist with all the gun-control debate that's going on in the US. I expect fierce BTBS performances with lots of political content.

oh yeah... i'd most definitely count on it.
  4. Yeah Bullet probably will get played and in fairness I’ll probably enjoy seeing it in person again but just not as much as I would other songs.

I'd love love love to hear The Fly a la Elevation live, and much as I love Bullet it needs some inspiration and the proper bluesy solo back in, i+e was a great version with the rant, but it was boring and uninspired on TJT 2017, I'm all for keeping it in the set and I love it but put some passion back into it!!

Mostly everything apart from JT's Side B was uninspired on TJT30
  7. I agree. My least favorite show of 2017. Which is a shame.
  8. It felt like they played the rest for the sake of it tbf
  9. I guess uninspired is a fair word to use but I don’t see that as a negative when it came to last year’s shows. To me it was all about performing the songs to a professional standard so that certain songs that hadn’t been witnessed by most of us were done justice and I think they did a great job of that. Bullet was performed something closer to the album version and that’s exactly what I wanted especially after the I&E version which was my least favourite. But I could accept bullet being played last year for obvious reasons with it being the album they were touring its even more reason to drop it for E&I though, it’s had it’s fair share.

Yeah, i love Bullet. It's a war horse but i never get tired of hearing it.
    I'd rather do without Pride.
In 2015 the set list and the storie they were telling with it was verry good. Hope they give it the same attention. But i know they will
  11. Bullet hasn't sounded remotely interesting since Elevation Tour, it even sounded rather out of place on Popmart. JT tour, meh, it was okay. I agree: drop it.

Completely agree - I actually thought that the intro and verse/chorus/verse was just SCREAMING when I saw it on I&E, but Bono has pretty much completely lost the ability to make any vocal riffing/speeches interesting at all, so the whole thing concludes on a really boring note and just doesn't stay exciting.

The "I can't breathe...I'm an American" part that came after was a genuinely emotional moment for me, however. That segue into Pride became one of my favorite parts of the whole show. I stand by the opinion that Pride was more entertaining than Streets on that tour.
