Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. I wonder if we’re all underestimating the longer concert claim. We all seem to be going for a mid 20’s prediction when it comes to a number of songs but it was rightly pointed out that SOE doesn’t have too many lengthy tracks so maybe they’ll want to fit them all in. They probably could fit 30 songs into 2
Hours 45 minutes. That way they really could give us a bit of everything.

It's easy to underestimate an statement when it has been done and sistematically ignored several times in the past.
  3. I agree, I only predicted 24 songs myself,
but maybe we’ll all be happily proven wrong this time. There was a lot of people who doubted the band would play TJT in full every night when that tour was announced yet when it happened a big deal wasn’t really made of it, if they start of with 30 songs by the end of the tour it will just be the norm, not any less great but still the norm.

I remember that. But once they committed to playing it, it is a difficult hook to get off of!
  5. True, it is different in that the tour was marketed as TJT in full every night, but there was still doubters. They’ve not made any big claims like that in the official marketing like concert length etc and I will still be surprised if they go past 25 or 26 songs but with no support act why not try and fit another 4 or 5 in.

I've said for years that Edge needs to do Van Diemen's Land and Numb. Give Bono a bit of a break throughout the two sets. That would add two more songs and two more deep cuts as well.

Wasn't Numb listed on the lighting cues for 2015?
  7. Looks like we are doing augmented Wheel of Fortune during the concert

it was, i remember that. and i like that idea a lot
  9. I mean, if you're lookking for a real post-innocence song, Numb is it. The barrage of ads and now social media, they could really update that. VDL could fit well with the political/human rights portion.
  10. Numb would be nice for the intermission, like Edge's head on the screen singing it... Van Diemen's Land is a song that I don't know why they don't just play, not a hard song to play, is not even Bono singing...
  11. yeah, reading it all, numb works as intermission, but edge sings it live
