I didn't say that and I'm not doubting your musical knowledge I'm completely self taught on my instrument and just learn by ear so I'm in no way an expert. I was referring to the song difficulty, I thought that even though it's in the same key, Love is Bigger is a tad easier to sing because the top note Bono hits is lower than the current (live) chorus of Pride? I could be talking rubbish, mind.

On topic: a good pal of mine's favourite song is HMTMKMKM and he isn't one to check setlists, he's never seen the band live and god I hope it sticks around just so I can see the reaction on his face.
I think there’s a good chance your friend is going to get a pleasant surprise then seeing as it’s a song they’ve got right plenty of times in the past and one they’ve felt happy to bring back even years after it’s release, I think it will show up every night, I guess at worst it could end up being a rotation slot but nah I think every show.

  2. Agree . The other thing I think that put me off a bit was the visuals for the song on the 2017 tour, just didn't get them
  3. I concur.

On the topic of what they have rehearsed, I'm really pleased; this looks like their most 'big hits-lite' setlist in a long time, but without sacrificing well-known songs either. I expect that what was rehearsed the other day won't be the setlist that's played on the tour, but I imagine it'll be similar..
  4. Things will evolve they generally do.
Just wish they'd drop vertigo, elevation, beautiful Day. So bored of them now

I was happy when they originally dropped Elevation on I+E... then it came back and barely missed a show for the rest of the tour
  6. So many great tracks they never play at the expense of a few repetitive main stays

It wasn’t quite as bad as that for elevation on I&E it was generally played every other show once it came back. Just a shame if they have to play it they can’t rotate it with vertigo and keep that slot for the rare stuff like they did at the beginning of the tour, for my 2 shows I got elevation, sweetest thing, desire and angel Of Harlem, in the e stage slots 1 sort of rarity in sweetest thing although I rate it as one of there worst songs so didn’t particularly appreciate it.
  8. good seeing staring at the sun still there, wish they could belt out another from pop, like please
  9. I'd die a happy man if they played Please live for another time, would work so well on the new tour i think!

  10. If I remember correctly in Joshua Tree Tour 2017 during New Year's Day, Bono was like "Hold The Edge up, as he holds us all up!" In this photo, these "chains", this system, seems to be holding some sort of stage or maybe just a spot on the stage. I guess Bono could be like "Hold The Edge up" in this tour as well , but in this case The Edge really will be going up Edge also says: "Better watch my step.." You won't need to Mr Evans, you'll be floating above the crowd Just a random thought that came to me a while ago while staring at this photo. Goodnight everyone

We're doing two nights in Manchester in October so I'm hoping we'll get it at least once! I thought I missed my chance with not seeing it on 360 so I'm pretty excited too, looks like they nail it everytime

I love Pop and welcome any and all offerings but I think we say that the songs would fit in any tour. Haha
