And the version they played was great.
  2. Maybe the band see this as merely a continuation of I+e with the addition of SOE songs, not a brand new tour. Rather disappointing if that's the outcome, but it's just a bit lazy.
  3. So far, with last night's (semi)full run, they played 21 songs.

If we include the 'Desire>Vertigo>The Showman>You're The Best Thing' section they would likely keep (just judging by Desire's rehearsal with intro and everything, and the fact that the other songs are certain to be staples this tour, at least Vertigo and YTBTAM), that makes 25 songs.

Do you think there's room for more? That's what has me worried for Wild Horses and Acrobat.

We still don't know if the encore is already included or not, though.

Who would have thought back on the elevation tour that we wouldn’t see a pop song again on a tour show for 17 years. I would strongly suggest enjoying the SOI songs while they remain in the Setlist because it’s not likely they’ll be appearing in any future tours.

You act like U2 has 20 years left of touring in them
  5. Well I think there’s at least a couple more tours to come, which could span maybe 8 years to make the 50th anniversary. The point is though these aren’t songs thrown in as crowd pleasers, they’re not overplayed songs either, we’re talking about 4 songs that should still feel relatively fresh and that’s total live plays isn’t actually that much because I&E was a relatively short tour.

Maybe Electric Co, historically one of their most energetic and "rock n roll" live songs, which was shelved for 18 years.

I don't know, though. I guess it shocks me that The Fly wasn't an automatic staple, but it did get some routine play on most tours after ZooTV. I would have thought that would be as concrete in the set as MW and One.

11 O'Clock was their song to rock the house for the entire 80's and suddenly disappeared. A few performances during Elevation at snail's pace and the Roxy show, but when they revived so many old songs last tour they forgot about this gem!
  7. there’s still 2 weeks, lets just see what happens

it already disappeared after the UF tour. Also it's not really a rocker I think, it's quite a slow song with a big climax at the end. I can see why they've picked Out of control and electric co over 11 o'clock in more recent tours, but I wouldn't mind to have 11 o'clock back in the setlist.

This is maybe the best answer, great choice
  10. Yeah we should just wait and see what rehearsals are like in Tulsa before we freak out.
  11. by me they could play raised by wolves, iris, song for someone at ease, at least the miracle will not open the show and will not get that boring version of every breaking wave
