Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Lets just keep in mind that we really don't know the setlist yet. I can guarantee you that the set they ran through last night will not be the set we hear in Tulsa. Or any full show this year. Trust me, I'm from the future.
  2. I will say, copying i+e with the Raised by Wolves and SBS makes absolutely zero sense. Why would you strip down SBS and play it the same way as 2015? When every show the past summer opened with it, you think they would put it away. And that rendition just has nothing behind at all.

They should not bring back songs from 2015 other than UTEOTW. CoBL is the same way, keep those cinematics away from E+I, give us something new please U2.

I completely agree yeah, but in the audio of Iris we were able to hear, it seemed like it's another version, like they're trying to play Iris in a different way. If they do play both songs, my gut tells me the "free yourself to be yourself" part will be in LoH & we will hear a new version of Iris.
  4. We were asking for Pop for years... can we consider HMTMKMKM a Pop song? If so, we got Pop in 360 too...
  5. keeping in mind that the i+e tour felt almost like a theatre show of sorts with the accompaning visuals.. I don't think they really have too much room to switch things up or add any more new songs during rehearsals. those songs we read about by now are probably it, one way or another.

not a fan of the return of that big i+e chunk... do the innocence narrative again, if you have to, but do it differently would be my advice. all nagging aside though I'll still enjoy myself, even if it's 21 times sweetest thing in a row.

  6. almost everytime they do the shitty setlist.... I get the speculation
  7. Probably they think the Cedarwood Road gimmick where Bono "enters" the screen was too good to limit it to one tour and they're doing it again. Word for word.

  9. surely they aren't going to take a block of the 2015 show and do it the exact same way? The exact same graphics on screen? The exact same arrangement as SBS? Surely not.
  10. well, fingers crossed, I guess...
  11. the first full setlist I was excited, the last I'm just sad
