Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. 13, just like ISHFWILF, not a good closer

As for the repeated IE section, the band could've changed it up a bit...

Acrobat and Horses (Maybe we get more Pop songs )

"U2 are the only established band that are taking risks releasing and playing new songs"? Haha, think you should take those U2 blinkers off. Plenty of examples, here's one.

Simple Minds have just been touring, promoting a new album. They have been playing the whole thing live!
  3. As much as I don't love either of them, they should play as much of the last two albums as possible...say, 12 to 14 songs altogether. It's the other half of the setlist they need to be a bit smarter about.
  4. Can the band acknowledge that pop and no line on the horizon exist? They’ve acknowledged pop a few times but ever since 360 there has only been one performance of a song from no line and even on the 360 tour not a lot of songs from the album were played. Ceaders of lebanon or breathe would be great additions to the setlist!

    I agree.

I'm kind of shocked we're going to get SATS (even if it is acoustic).

I suspected that we might get something from POP after the Rolling Stone interview with Edge where the interviewer brought it up.

I also have it on good authority that Edge was responsible for the band working up Discotheque and Mofo in 2005.

I'm also with you re: NLOTH. I think the Crazy Tonight remix would go great with them performing inside the screen.
  6. The difference, at least in my opinion is that U2 is still relevant. Meaning they have successful tours and they still attract (some) mainstream attention.

Either way, I really respect any band or artist that is still working and putting out new music.

Again, I think it's entirely up to the band as to what they choose to perform. That said, I've always wanted to hear a Pop song live. I'm not sure why they ignore No Line but I also don't really care too much. I'd be happy with a song in the set but I don't think it's needed.

I actually think the set is OK but I do have some issues:
-I am disappointed that Batman isn't live and I would like for Acrobat and Horses to be staples.
    - Red Flag Day and Summer Of Love belong in the set.
    - There is too much SOI in my opinion. I'd have gone with maybe 2 songs at most.
    - I think it is a missed opportunity to reviit some of the songs on ATYCLB and Bomb though ABOY is beack so... (I almost feel like pairing that with Best Thing would be a good segue/transition)

I think I could at least kind of accept this setlist if streets was there but its criminal to leave it out
  9. All this set needs is an addition of 25 more slots, all to be a 10 minute mash-up of Lemon/Mofo. 5 hour concert. Everyone leaves happy.
  10. Funny how we are the tried and true die hard fans complaining about the setlist....
Although some warhorses are here (Beautiful Day, Pride, One, IWF, Desire, Vertigo, Elevation) I don't think the casual concert goer is going to be happy with the show/set - not that this is a bad thing. However, I do think the press/media are going to publish a lot of mediocre or negative reviews; especially since no JT songs.
I wonder how the band will react to possible bad press?

    By bringing back Exit.
