Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75

  1. Agree but Acrobat is in a strange spot. Looks like it will be on b- stage and please not acoustic
  2. anyone thinking streets or anything joshua tree will be in it, at this point, it wont happen (unfortunately)
  3. IF they add Streets could be the last song....

  4. I will post the full dress rehearsal, including snippets, in the next few minutes.
  5. I think from everything we’ve been told it will be full electric. The Setlist positions are looking a bit strange at that point though I agree, especially with macphisto in there too, it will all make sense soon enough.
  6. Great decision by U2
  7. Here we go, setlist of what is likely the final dress rehearsal and thus the opening nights setlist, including snippets and some interesting details.

Love Is All We Have Left (over PA, with Bono singing live to his own voice during the first part)
    The Blackout
    Lights of Home
Beautiful Day / Many Rivers To Cross (snippet)
    All Because Of You
    I Will Follow
    The Ocean
    Iris
    Cedarwood Road
    Song For Someone
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
Raised By Wolves / Songs of Experience: Introduction poem from William Blake (snippet)
Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses

Intermission: Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me (Remix over PA, presumably by Gavin Friday)

    Elevation (with Influx Remix intro)
Vertigo / Sympathy For The Devil (snippet)
    Desire (Hollywood Remix version)
    (Speech by mr. MacPhisto)
    Acrobat
You’re The Best Thing About Me (acoustic)
    Staring At The Sun (acoustic)
Pride (In The Name Of Love)
Get Out Of Your Own Way
    American Soul
    City Of Blinding Lights

Encore, preceded by the song Women Of The World Take Over by Jim O’Rourke:
    One
Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way
    13 (There Is A Light)
  8. Jim O Rourke was an ex Sonic Youth member who seems to live now in Japan. I'm surprised they put his song in there.
  9. Yeah this setlist could be much much worse, overall I am very excited to hear how this will turn out.
  10. Really should finish on Love is Bigger...the complete repeat of the I&E (Iris etc) is still baffling. 2nd half of the show is pretty weak imo also

The Best Thing - GOOYOW segment looks pretty boring to me. Two acoustic songs, and then two songs most fans have heard plenty of times now. As much as I love a Pop song, SATS acoustic doesn't really inspire.
