My hope is once they get to Europe American Soul gets punted for Red Flag or even Summer of Love - maybe strikes as more topical for the EU audience.
I had the same thoughts about Europe and Red Flad Day/Summer Of Love.

I know that they aren't doing many shows in Canada which is a shame but Red Flag Day and Summer Of Love also fit better with our issues regarding refugees as well. In fact, the boy who washed up on the shore died while being smuggled out of the country. His aunt, who lives in Canada gave the family the money to pay the smugglers. On top of that, there has been a lot od debate and fake news in Canada about accepting refugees.
  2. And the crowd goes mild! Come on. edge is two feet away. Smile or something.

  3. Fucking morons, one of the best guitar players and poprock composers of all time is rocking his ass out in front of you and you turn your fucking back on him to take a selfie? And hold your 5 inch smartphone in front of him for the whole song?

As DutchU2Fan said, watching the crowd during Pride was sad. Both the crowd around Adam & Edge. The crowd was so close to them, but they may of well been at an art exhibition. Was good to see one guy going absolutely nuts, about 15m from Edge.
  5. If this is the return of MacPhisto, at least look like this

    Haha that's depressing
  7. I might have missed comments but what was the atmosphere like at the venue when they played acrobat? When I listened to Sil’s Mixlr last night it sounded great but I’m assuming she had a good GA spot, when I watched it on YouTube it looked like a pretty flat crowd and has me concerned it could get dropped despite a good performance.
  8. The @u2 guys that were in seats said the crowd was really flat for it. We've just got to make sure that is crazies in GA go nuts!

Praying they don't cut it. Though it is linked to a lot of the themes & visuals in that section, so might be tough to cut.

maybe it will help convince them to drop that old dinosaur and replace it with the showman!
  11. No bad idea, it's better to drop a song than have people look like they are waiting for the bus to go home. But it's the only song i feel they can drop.
