Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Another tour that misses so many countries, Australia is waiting you know, me personally yes, but there petitions and people all over waiting .like so many countries that have waited years , ever remember Asia? The biggest band in the world can’t seem tour an Asian country since 2006? 360 the highest grossing tour ever didn’t set foot in Asia ,... it’s odd that Bono just seems to be obsessed with the “American idea” so much that he’s forgotten the east market for such a band , not including Japan) this tour should be touring more countries but it’s not.
  2. Drop Vertigo, Elevation, Iris, beautiful day, City of blinding lights, Sunday bloody Sunday, the ocean! Now add Mofo after Blackout, then Dirty Day, Gone, Do you feel loved, If good will send his angels, Some days are better than others, Drowning Man and rotate with Miami, aplayboy Mansion, Breathe, Magnificent, Crumbs from your table, Sleep like a baby tonight, This is where you can reach me now, Discotheque, Daddys Gonna pay, and the Troubles
  3. Shame to hear the band had a bad night, poor St. Louis getting another rough deal. Let's just hope the dropping of songs (worrying they didn't replace them) was a one off.

I'm sure they'll bounce back with the upcoming San Jose shows. Interested to see how the nights vary.
  4. What is the mix of The Miracle they are playing over the PA at the end like?

Dream out loud, at high volume ?
  6. Average performance last night aside, this miming of Love Is All We Have Left and the squeaky autotune needs to be fixed. Why can't he just sing it?

    +1
  8. Why so much negativity for the SL show ? I didn't see it but I've watched Tulsa and it was better than I expected

It was just not as good from every aspect

It seemed like they were having a bit of an off night, there were an unusual number of sloppy mistakes here and there, Edge screwed up several times, plus the culling of 3 songs to make way for a short version of NYD. Bit of a comedown from night #1. By no means dreadful as far as I'm concerned but definitely not U2 on their A game.
  11. My initial thoughts after 2 shows:
The Blackout: great opener / I would like to see how it would work on the main stage rather than the late reveal of the band from inside the screen
Lights of Home: it's a good second song, but I feel like it would work so much better live, something's not quite there yet imo, maybe it's the strings version, I dunno
BD: first classic of the night, nice song to please most of the crowd
ABOY: fresh rocker, I think the crowd responded well to it, hope they keep it
I Will Follow: classic live song, could rotate with Stories For Boys or the more usual suspects Out Of Control / Gloria
The Ocean: it's cool & works very well right before Iris, nice 2 songs
Iris - UTEOTW: I guess we have to wait and see how the band feels about that iNNOCENCE part. I still don't quite understand why the cut songs yesterday
HMTMKMKM: awesome intermission, cool comics-visuals about our band
Elevation-Vertigo-Desire: I don't think that will change...Live necessities for the casuals I guess
    Acrobat: it should stay forever
The Showman as a follow-up to Acrobat I think works better than the acoustic Best Thing. After all, Bono is The Showman now, more than he is MacPhisto
Staring At The Sun: POP gets represented, sounds well in its acoustic version, one of my favorites
Pride: permanent spot, not much to say, I hope fans appreciate more Adam & The Edge in front of them by actually looking at them with their eyes rather than their phones but hey, none of my business..
GOOYOW-COBL: not my favorite part of the show, but it's part of their story
Encore: I hope it doesn't start with One... WGRYWH should be rotated with The Fly: cool way to open the final part of the show
One: personal favorite, classic U2 song, cool visuals
I feel WOWY would work here if U2 wanna add a JT song
Love Is Bigger - 13: nice closers
