    U2 will have played 93 tour shows in the US between 2015-2018. They will have played 84 tourshows in Europe between 2015-18. They will have played 10 tour shows in the rest of the world between 2015 and now. No wonder the US has lots of spare tickets.

    Put it another way. U2 are playing Madison Square Garden more times in 2015-18 than they will everywhere in the world outside of Europe / US in 2012-18.

    I think popularity is playing an important factor in ticket sales. If you look at the European shows there’s a few places they played in each of the last 3 tours yet they’ve sold well. Then look at the US market and there’s places they haven’t played for a while not selling out. I just don’t think u2 are as loved in the US at the moment. I might be wrong but did they not sell better in Europe for popmart as well compared to the US?

    Well said! I used to make the mistake of desperately trying to capture photos and videos at concerts, until I eventually realised that I didn't really bother to watch any of the stuff again. I still photograph selectively at concerts now, but don't bother much with videos. People with better equipment than me put content on Youtube if I want to watch anything again, there's sometimes proshot footage that appears, and there's always plenty of excellent photos available too. So I got back to just enjoying concerts again as experiences, live events, rather than through a phone screen, best decision I ever made!

    i get all my photos out of the way the 1st 1-2 songs.

    i always feel bad for those who missed out on tickets because some tool that only wants to show he's there got the ticket...
  9. Memories are what it's about , not YouTube or high res pics or tweets or Periscope.
    My favourite ever shows zootv Glasgow August 93 , I have no pics or anything but it's etched onto my memory for brilliance and spell bound I was
  10. Taking photos often destroys the moment that you're trying to capture.
  11. I take 2 or 3 pics at a concert, and record maybe 4 songs, 20/30 seconds each.
