I agree, it’s subdued but nice
  2. ... off topic but did anyone else notice that they gave Edge a head of hair when he has his hat off in the intermission cartoon?
  3. What is their affection with Elevation and Vertigo?
    Can anyone answer that?
  4. Probably just so easy for them to play now and songs that visibly get the crowd going, more so than the majority of there songs. I’m sure the band will feed of that and probably feel it’s needed for parts of the show. I’m not saying I’d have them in my ideal Setlist far from it.
  5. It gets the crowd going, brings energy. This setlist lacks some energy with a lot of slow songs so I think they are well in place.

But it doesn’t really. I think the crowd will go wilder with the classic songs. Put in Refugee, Surrender, Two Hearts, Like a Song, Wire, or even older any other song from Boy or October. Or later God Part II, or something from PoP or NLOTH...
If you drop all the songs from JT, what I can understand. Then drop the other easy ones too...

15% of the crowd would, but you have to realize not everyone going to a gig is as big of a fan as us.

Yeah in general the crowd wouldn’t go particularly wild, you’ll maybe get a generous clap or cheer at the beginning and end of the songs and that’s it. Vertigo and elevation blow anything you’ve suggested out of the water when it comes to energy and crowd interaction. Might have been different in the past.

Uhh. Crowds won't respond to Refugee, Surrender, wo Hearts, Like A Song, or Wire. Casual fans don't know these songs.

Casual fans want songs like Vertigo and Elevation.

If what you are saying is true. I’ll bet you WTSHNN. Will be a way better crowd pleaser than Elevation and/or Vertgo. If you ask me.

    Then combine them...
  12. If the band is catering for the 'casual fans' by way of song selection then they are truly fucked.
