    Both....
  2. they drop WTSHNN (best live song) WOWY (most famous song)
and easy to play... err.. do you play any instrument? cause U2 songs on average, are easy to play, taking one or other exception (talking about drums, specifically)
  3. I am talking about certain songs they always play the last 10/15 years. I thought I was clear in that.
    And they have better songs...

But it doesn’t really. I think the crowd will go wilder with the classic songs. Put in Refugee, Surrender, Two Hearts, Like a Song, Wire, or even older any other song from Boy or October. Or later God Part II, or something from PoP or NLOTH...
If you drop all the songs from JT, what I can understand. Then drop the other easy ones too...

People are saying that the crowds haven’t been very good with what is being played now and you think the songs you mentioned would make a difference? They most certainly would not.

I’d love to hear them sure. But the crowd in general wouldn’t I don’t think.

I think the crowd is getting tired of the same old songs. I want them to mix it up. Surprise the crowd....

That said, the I Will Follow / Ocean / Iris transition is perfect and has to stay. Breaking this up with NYD / Gloria spoils the narrative flow.

I'd be happy for them to make the second 'quarter' :

    Follow
    Ocean
    Iris
    Cedarwood Road
    Raised By Wolves
    Please
Love Is All We Have Left
    Streets

Sure, you ditch SFS, SBS, and UTEOTW.

You could back up the end of set 2 with :

    Pride
Get Out Of Your Own Way
    American Soul
Until The End of The World

UTEOTW could serve as an apocalyptic set closing warning about the consequences of *not* changing path politically.

Move COBL to the encore, after One.

All ideas, none I doubt they will use.

I think this could work! The songs you added in the innocence portion would be experience sort of warning the innocent self.

Also all this talk of how the lyrics of Rejoice affected the narrative of the two tours and I feel like that should have been added somewhere. (This actually gives me an idea for a thread actually!)

Every U2 song is easy to learn..
  8. No idea, ask the band. Just saying from a musical standpoint, they're not too complicated. Not saying it as a bad thing, I've loved them since 91.
  9. Talking about Setlist tweaks from last nights set I would love to replace SBS with SFS, I know that will probably divide opinion but I think SFS is a great song.
I’d also put wild horses after acrobat taking the Setlist to the same number as night 1.

By all means. Anything to get rid of SBS for a while. Also even though SOI is getting a better deal than NLOTH it’s odd there are now not even one of the three singles from SOI are left in the set
