NLOTH is one of the best albums they put in the market. But that is my feeling....

It is odd but quite cool that they are playing 3 non singles from the previous album. Can’t remember the last time they did that, probably only the very early days with boy songs played on October tour.
  3. All this talk of SBS reminds me how great it was opening on the JT tour, but how poor it has been on i+e and e+i. Just drains the vigour right out of the songs.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, get Please to replace it.

The start of the Lovetown tour before Exit was dropped (Technically God’s country & One tree Hill were singles)

Lovetown was the Australian tour and additional European tour from the R&H album, or am I mistaken? Singles from R&H were Desire, WLCTT and Angel...
They played all those songs, didn’t they?

The poster is referencing playing non singles from a previous album on a new tour. Desire and Angel etc were played on Lovetown as they featured on R&H. Exit was not a single from the Joshua Tree but was still played in 1989.

Iris and RBW weren't singles from SOI but are still being played today. Usually it's just the singles from an album that get carried forward.

What I meant was, R&H was a live album from the JT tour. With some additional new tracks. And the Lovetown tour was additional to the JT tour.
    But maybe I am wrong...

You are. Lovetown was a new tour with a new look & featuring B.B. King & his band also. The core setlist was Desire / Watchtower / God part II / Van Diemen’s Land and Angel of Harlem / When love comes to town / Love rescue me - all Rattle & Hum songs and only featured (for the most part) songs from Side 1 of The Joshua Tree and One Tree Hill which was rarely played on The Joshua Tree tour

always will have a song that they played in the last 10/15 years, unless they do a show asking you what songs you want them to play live. what I've been talking since the beginning is that they're playing songs that they think are necessary to the context they created, putting a different song sometimes, nothing out of the ordinary of a U2 tour.
  10. Right back on topic what a scorcher they’re rehearsing today, Red Flag Day, awesome. The video is posted in the San Jose thread but it would need to be discussed with a spoiler over there.

I know the setlist. I was at the tour...
I always thought they gave the show additional to the 3rd JT leg in the US.
That is way the show features so many new tracks....

Of course they will, that is fine....
Now put this setlist next to DVD from Paris...
Or next to DVD’s before that...
    Anything surprising?
