    What would you prefer:
A setlist with 4 or 5 rotational slots with the usual songs that U2 could prepare with a few days of rehearsals, like NYD, Angel of Harlem, Showman for Best Thing, Gloria, maybe OOC, you can throw in some JT classics (Bullet, WOWY, but not Streets, not going to happen )
    OR
A static setlist with only 1 rotational slot, but anything can happen there. I'm talking real rarities like Please, Kite, A Day Without Me, Drowning Man, etc. Variations beyond our wildest dreams that will keep everyone guessing what they will play in that slot.
    ???
the second one should be everyone’s answer
  2. Ok, keep in mind that you may receive Grace or The Refugee (although the latter really can get the crowd going) on that night.

I would just prefer more energy, it starts with Blackout, it sounds at flat as it gets. They just do their job, no passion. No wonder the crowd doesn't respond. Until IWF. But even then, sing the fucking Ocean, lame ass! Honestly, there is never realy a wake up call. This "shit" just drips down on you, but the rain never starts to fall.
  5. Rough. I think Bono's age/illness/injury or whatever is catching up? They're getting older and he has to protect his voice more I suppose...then again look at PJ....
  6. Grace will be fine. Any obscure song will do. I love those. Bring on Red Light, Elvis etc.

But then stop it, right? U2 are no cognac glass swinging band, if they cant deliver a real (POP;-) rock show. Then please retire.
  8. U2 added a playlist to their Spotify called "U2 Official eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour" and it includes Acrobat, WGRYWH, SATS, and SFS. So, perhaps, Acrobat and SATS won't be cut. Maybe we will see a return for WGRYWH and SFS??
  9. Option 2 of course. I’d take Grace instead of yet another SBS or Pride any night
  10. Counteroffer: You can take Grace for that single slot (or a cooler song, it's about luck)
    OR
A whole tour like Lovetown where you never know what the opener or closer will be, setlist re-ordering, or backwards setlist, 6 or 7 changes from night to night. Granted, these changes will be within a 32-song list.
  11. Option 3 !!
