they could have played 20 songs first night in Vegas and change 6 songs on the 2nd night, would have that been satisfying?

We’re talking hypothetically now. Ifs and buts, the reality is the band played the same city two nights in a row and if you went to night 2 all you got was a song less which makes no sense to give people less for there money. There was no different songs brought in to counter that so we can’t even look at it from a song quality point of view.

It's not designed for the rich super fans it's designed for the 95% who only see it once, back in the 80s and early 90s before the internet most ppl didn't have a clue what songs they were gonna play or in what order yeah they knew Bad,Pride,Streets and Sunday bloody Sunday would be played but most of the setlist was a surprise and the band mainly kept to the same songs most nights but nobody cared if it was the same gig as London, New York, or Dublin.

26 songs is not hypothetical.

So if it’s meant for the 95% who only see them once why not play the same amount of songs instead of giving night 2 a song less?

20 songs is though.

If u2 did this , I’d be flat broke. So thank you u2. I’m sure the one show I see will be great , but no thanks to any more than that.
