1. Hadn't gotten a chance to watch this yet - thanks for sharing! I'm in the camp of those who wasn't a huge fan of this song when it first came out on the album, but it's grown on me. I've always been a little wary since 2000 onward of U2 songs whose lyrics express sentiments a little too straightforwardly, and I think that was one of my issues with the song originally. A tad simplistic, a tad cheesy, a bit of a "All You Need is Love" knockoff, too long of a title (typical, right?)...

But man is this acoustic version fantastic. And I love how obvious it is that this song means so much to Bono as a look back on his life thus far and as a message to his kids. Listening to this and thinking of my own little girls as a dad makes me want to just sit at my computer and put this on repeat.
  2. More remixes. There are like 20 of them now
Am I the only one who doesn't care about any of them?

  3. Does anyone feel like they are making remix after remix to appeal to a generation of consumers who just couldn't give a crap about U2? Cheat Code remix? WTF.

This song is okay - it's a bit over the top U2 for me, but it's a fun singalong in a live setting.
  4. 16 remixes at least:

  5. He's nearly great but there is something missing.
  6. New lyrics on top? I’m down.

Where are all of the remixes available?
  7. Just follow U2songs they are chronicling all of them. More are about to be released.
  8. The Ellen Degeneres accoustic version is really something else... I'm not a big fan of the song but this is something very good
