  1. I don't think that it's been posted so here's Vertigo

  2. Was EBW restarted? Why?
  3. Watched the whole thing last night. It was fantastic. It really shows what they’re capable of without the restraint of a narrative. I loved the mistake and the restart. Things happen when you pull songs you haven’t played in a while and I’m perfectly ok with that. The two encores were awesome. The new songs crushed with all the die yards there. EBW-Horses-love is Bigger to close was awesome. The boy opening, RFD, ABOY even all the hits were great. Very unique , almost lounge approach to Love Town that really worked and you could tell bono was having so much fun. It’s got to be refreshing to play songs you don’t gave to play every single night.
  4. I think he messed up the second line. He probably could if just rolled with it but it was so early he said let’s try that again. Audience laughed and then I was reminded how great EBW is. I saw people hear saying it’s boring but to hear that I’m a theater with the emotion bono showed had to be special.
  5. I agree it was right to restart EBW, I’d always rather see a band do that than leave a version that’s noticeably flawed. I thought the show overall was good, because some of the songs hadn’t been played in a while and there was a bit of unpredictability it made it more exciting but now that it’s over I’d probably rather listen to an E&I show because of how I rate the songs. To be clear I’m not a big fan of WLCTT and certainly not last nights version, desire is only an ok track to me and I didn’t like what the brass band contributed to the song last night and there was still a few of the regulars played on the E&I tour anyway which is fine but also holds it back from being preferable to an E&I show if that makes sense. On the plus side the opening 5 songs were great choices, absolutely no complaints whatsoever about them. AOH was fantastic with the brass band and everything from stuck to the end of the show was great too. So overall I do still rate the show favourably and certainly enjoyed listening in last night.

It was a great show. I have to hand it to them... they always come through. After a strong start, while it still rocked, they started to lose me with the new 21st century warhorses that are obviously the new staple, but then they reeled me right back in with the 2nd half of show. I love GOOYOW, so when they got back on with that, I was hooked again... Can't wait to see video...

And EBW is a brilliant tune. It's one of those songs to me. Like COBL, I just never get tired of it. Even Pride was great, although I wished he woulda made the King speech a little different than the every night spiel...

Overall, excellent outting. And the mistake in EBW was a very human moment... I'm glad he started over.
