  1. Nah... it come down to Germany getting through is good for FIFA... brings more revenue. They're not gonna lose Argentina AND Germany...

But if Mexico lose and Germany and Sweden win, they'll all be on 6 points but Mexico will have a goal difference of 0 and Sweden and Germany will have a goal difference of +2, and if the results are right even South Korea can qualify if Mexico beat Sweden and South Korea beat Germany by 3 goals
  5. Yes, it's rhe most intetesting and exciting group so far. We'll see what's happening. Today England will qualify for sure. It's Kane time.

    If South Korea wins by one goal and Mexico wins by 3, then the three teams rank as follows (results against the fourth team are ruled out when 3 teams up with the same nr of points).

    Germany 3 points, goal difference -2.
    Sweden 3 points, goal difference 0.
    South Korea 3 points, goal difference +1.

    So Korea would qualify then indeed if I’m not mistaken.
  7. Germany would go out on the head to head if they lost to South Korea by a one goal margin or more and Sweden get beat by 2 goals or more. The reasoning is Sweden would have an inferior overall goal difference at -2 so that eliminates them straight away then South Korea and Germany would both have a -1 goal difference overall if it was a one goal win for Korea so it would then come down to head to head first and foremost which Korea won. If Korea won by 2 goals they would just go through on overall goal difference assuming Sweden lost. Obviously Mexico would be straight through.
  8. Solid performance from England but they’re going to shoot themselves in the foot here. Watch them win by 6 or 7 goals to go above Belgium on goal difference and then Belgium will be happy to draw the last game finish 2nd and avoid a potentially harder quarter finals.

  11. I know it's only Panama but it's great to see England play this well, great for our confidence. Panama deserve the spanking for playing like a bunch of thugs.
