I don’t have a clue if it works any differently when it comes to paying the crew overtime though.

Venue curfews at arena size are at least £1k per minute. This £1k isn't just a fine though ; it covers the costs of the (average) 350+ arena staff entering overtime on their contracts (i.e. at doubletime hourly rates ; even minimum wage would cost an extra £3k for venue staff) , extra costs incurred by potentially keeping public transport open post closedown, carparks, and also knock on costs for the road crew who may see a 6am loadin>2am loadout become a full 6am loadin>4am loadout + late loadin at the next show - for example.

In 2002 GNR's then manager bought Axl a sports car every show he turned up on time to demonstrate how much money the late starts cost him.
  2. American Soul wont be dropped. I think the only song that MIGHT be dropped is STATS for Summer of Love to become a staple in Europe.

Red Flag Day, Summer of Love and Landlady should all hopefully be present in Europe

From another side, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band were known for their almost traditional curfew breakin' time:
"What time is it? What time is it...?" - "CURFEW BREAKING TIME !!!"

He can get away with because he is The Boss! By the time Adam hits the kimono, Bruce is only limbering up.

    Not a chance punk?
You keep being rude to other users here. If you can't be civil here, then you can't participate anymore.
  8. Yup. Not the first time either
  9. I really hope they change it up a bit for Europe; the shows seem very America-centric, which makes sense for the US(/Canada) shows, but new themes, new styles and more rotation would make the show a lot more interesting!! Even on Zoo TV and Popmart where (apart from the last 10 Zoo TV and a few Popmart shows) the set on first night and the last night was virtually the same there was more rotation than on this tour!!
  10. Seems pretty generous to include "Love is all we have left" and "The Ocean" as part of the setlist of this tour.

From what I can hear and see Bono doesn't actually sing any of "Love is All We Have Left"... they are just playing the song over the PA.

And now that Bono isn't even singing anything from the Ocean, it's more backing music for a monologue.
  11. I think they will shake it up and "Europeanise" it, they always do.
Especially after their summer break , they will return refreshed .
  12. By the time the band hits the second leg, they've generally ironed out the kinks. Europe will probably have a couple of different songs and maybe some extra rotating songs.
