  1. Yep. How'd that work out for you? I loved my seat.

And who doesn't sell at face on a fan site?
  2. Been reading more tour reviews lately and didn't realise quite how divisive this one has been. Seems some are saying that it's an incredible story and some are saying it's a bore-fest. I've listened to the recordings and it sounds like a solid, thematically-driven show to me. To those that have attended: what is the energy of the crowd like? I'm presuming they don't react particularly well to the new stuff (i.e. half of the set)?

Personally, I think a lot of energy could be reclaimed by ending the 'narrative' in the main set and leaving the encore for high-energy hits. Something like: NYD/Elevation/Vertigo/Best Thing (electric)/GOYOW/American Soul/Staring at the Sun/Pride/Love Is Bigger/13 --- Wild Horses/COBL/One/Bad
  3. The whole point of the show is to end on 13 and go out like they do. I must admit the first show I went to, I was confused about the beginning and the end. But now, I get it. This is a highly personal concert, which is why they are doing it in smaller arenas. But, I get the frustration people feel when new songs like Red Flag Day are being cut out. I was privileged to see it premiered and the crowd reaction on the floor was great. The same for American Soul. But, obviously, U2 has their personal story to tell in this leg of the tour and they are sticking to their guns. Personally, I love 13 and I get why they want to end on it... But, for the crowd, it is disconcerting to end a U2 concert that way...
  4. Do you guys know what time bono comes to greet fans at msg and where? Thanks
  5. In the afternoon somewhere. Times change, you will see a huge crowd waiting already in the course of the afternoon. It's at the back of the arena, where the gates are with a separate entrance. Just make a trip around the arena and you'll notice the people.
