  1. Manchester 11-08-01 (17 years ago, TODAY!) was my least favourite. The night never really recovered from Bono's announcement of his fathers imminent mortality, and it took until an hour later with "Bad / 40 / Streets" before the show really hit paydirt again.
  2. I was at that concert Manchester 11/08/11 and thought it was one of the best. That’s not a disagreement, i just wonder if it can depend on whether your in the seats or standing.
    I saw Glasgow 2005 and was near the rear sitting up the back. Couldn’t connect at all. Even left 2 songs early for train and didn’t mind. Then went and saw them 1st night Dublin 2005 and was sat down at right angle to the stage (fan club tickets too) and again just didn’t feel it. Only two times I’ve been sitting at U2 gigs.
    Yet i’m sure those in GA were having a great time.
    Would probably prefer a seat these days mind. Gettin on a bit.
