I love it as a song, but it's not a definite favourite. Perhaps a bit underrated, but then again I think that about a lot of U2 stuff that isn't known by the mainstream

There are songs a lot more overdue for a return to the set than Gone...
  2. Promenade
    Hawkmoon 269
    Twilght
    Heartland
    Surrender
    .......................to name just a few.

Same as a few other Boy songs: Another Time, Another Place, Stories For Boys, A Day Without Me and Shadows and Tall Trees are all very underrated. I love those more than An Cat Dubh/Into The Heart and Out Of Control, which they've played the last years.
  4. God Part II

I agree that they could include the song on the new tour....
but I believe they have better songs from the 80's

They do have better songs, much better, but God Part II rules live.
It was one of the best during Lovetown...

    most underrated though.
  9. But I hope even more for the return of Dirty Day, only problem is that Bono cannot reach those high notes any more

Now, now, don't be so sure about that...

I really hope he can, but during the Vertigo-tour he didn't show that he still can

Nightly performances of SYCMIOYO and Miss Sarajevo say otherwise. Plus on the final leg (when they'd had a rest) he hit high notes in Bad and Pride that he hadn't hit for 13 years.

He won't hit them in the same way now - the guy's in his mid-40's - but hit them he can.
