Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Damn. Hate it on the album but AS is fuckin killer live. Shame it’s getting replaced by a usual hit.
  2. true... but yesterday's NYD was amazing version
  3. I’ve been thinking about it and I’m not sure but would American Soul be a good encore opener? With Kendrick at the beginning.
  4. I feel like they should end the main set with NYD - letting Ode To Joy play into the encore break
  5. Is there going to be another North American leg in 2019?
  6. No. They're probably going to be on a long break. Don't be surprised if it's the same length of time between 360 and I+E tour or between release of No Line + Songs of Innocence.

Why would there be a long break? They're not young anymore.

And In terms of variety, that's barely even a tour. I counted 16 shows in a row & the amount of cities is only 6. Even the much shorter JT2017 went to more places.

Adam, edge and Bono have all pretty much confirmed they will be taking a long break after this tour. I think next year will be a complete year off as in no working as a band at all even in the studio by the sounds of it, but they’ve also made it very clear they will be back at some point. I guess 2021 or 2022 at earliest.

Yep. And agreed. I don’t think U2 owes the world or its fans anything more for a while now. They’ve been going nonstop for years now, which is something they haven’t done since the 80s.

I think they go away for quite a while after this, maybe even forever.
  10. They'll be back. But I think they need a serious break after 2014-2018. However, a serious break to them seems to be 8-10 months (I'm thinking about the post- Zoo TV, Post-JT and Post Vertigo time frames). We'll see.
