  7. Because the TV broadcast was 20 days after the show? The DVD came out in the following summer.
  8. Because the TV version aired 3 hours after the show, so no time for edits. Then later they cut stuff out.

    Haha I forgot about that. I remember people were really annoyed that it got cut for the DVD, but honestly - it was a good move. Not only did it make Bono look kind of stupid, it wasn't visually or musically pleasing in any way. Having that stay in the video would've taken away from the show, ironically enough.
