  1. Yeah in retrospect I would really like a re-visitation of these two records. One was released on the worst gimmick music marketing has seen in ages, and the other was hemmed and hawed over for so long they had to invent a tour just to finish it.

A complete, 2-disc deluxe package of what the story was always meant to be, would be nice. Whatever mixes / extra tracks / tweaking they want to do, now they don't have to worry about a deadline.

This is a very interesting and unique point in their career because its one of the richest eras they've ever put together thematically, but it often felt an inch deep and a mile wide - especially the Experience leg, even though I'm not just talking about the tours.
  2. Holy shit! What an amazing show! Had tears in my eyes during New Years Day
  3. thanks to all u2startes for everything, thanks to this site I could feel it and live this great era (2014-2018) Meanwhile, I'll be careful in a few years for a possible return of the band
  4. This isn't the end of U2 - just the start of another era. I'll never forget the first night of I+E in Vancouver and the buzz around all the fans that the boys were back. 2021 (or whenever they tour again) will feel the same way!!!

Will the next tour be as good as the last 4 years? I didn't think I+E would be better than 360 or then that E+I would be better than I+E, but it seems that they just keep getting better. So who knows?? It very well could be.
  5. how was the crowd's energy in elev - vert - even better ?
  6. I thought this was all over at the end of ZooTV so.

This was a great tour, though I had some misgivings, I can't complain. My heart feels a little heavy, but I know this is not goodbye. I have a fantasy of them quietly releasing Songs of Ascent without a tour. A quiet conclusion to the Songs Of...motif. Whatever the future holds, I'll treasure the past. Hope we see them again relatively soon.
That old "pass the salt" comment Bono once mentioned referring to going back to day to day drudgery after a U2 tour ends.

What an incredible night Vancouver was, following here on the forums, discovering the show for the first time through Mixlr, Periscope, Instagram and Twitter. What a crazy ride it started for many of us. All those Europeans that stayed up for the entire North American leg, having some of the best setlist parties we’ve known.

I visited 13 innocence and experience shows during the last three years, and an additional 6 JT shows and it has been barely believeable. Never did I think I’d be here after Sheffield in 2009. Whatever happens, whatever they dream up next, these two legs and this arena show will always hold a very special place within me. From Barcelona to Dublin, I have had the best time. Met so many fans along the way, made so many friends in the process, and shared this journey with the greatest people.
