  1. Yup, even after Love Town actually I'd got no idea how they could move forward and top TJT / R&H / LT.

I'm not sure there will be any reinvention next time round though if / when that happens. I'd also like to think and hope that the next tour may be more of a celebration of past, present and future and less concept/theme and production focussed, with a bit less slavery to the technology - as bloody brilliant as all of that has always been... and hopefully perhaps be a little bit more about just having fun and enjoying the music and getting a little bit of spontaneity back into the shows - which the concept / tech hasn't allowed for since 360 - by and large at least.

But I'll be happy to hear whatever they have to offer if / when they're back.
  2. Interesting that Bono thanked Mark Fisher a massive part of their success who died in 2013 the brains behind a lot of the U2 tour designs going back to Zoo TV,Popmart and 360 did he ever mention him from the stage before? It does feel like a full stop for the band Bono has been quite reserved in recent months talking about the band usually he is rabbiting on about having another album ready to go or that they hope to have one out by Christmas etc but hey if they do go their separate ways it's been one hell of a journey.
  3. Remy you are a legend, we are lucky to have you.
    Never stop the post-show chats!

Shame Landlady won't make the DVD, hope it is a bonus on it maybe.

The future is now exciting; we are all going to go crazy for the next U2 news/album/tour and that is a good thing.
  4. Disappointed not to have a hint of Bad or 40 (no 40 two tours in a row!! Not even a snippet....) But a fantastic tour nonetheless
  5. The end of an era...

  6. Only pic I took
  7. I'm not gonna lie this SOE era has been among their worst, but not bad by any means. I think the Innocence tour was their best since the 90's. It's been a great 4 years and they deserve a long break.
  8. It’s been fun, guys. I wonder if we’ll get a debrief statement from the guys or if they go quiet from here.
  9. Had the pleasure of seeing 2 shows on this tour (Chicago 2 and Montreal 1). A little disappointed of the final set list in Europe but that doesn’t take away from those 2 shows.

Thanks to all at U2Start.com. I start and end my day with you everyday.

Black Friday Record Store Day release of HMTMKMKM coming soon as well as U2’s cover of Bang A Gong in 2019. After that will be interesting to see just how long of a layoff the band will have. Three tours in four years this band definitely deserves a break and dream it all up again.
  10. Best show of the tour.

    Crowd was insane.
  11. awesome
