As much as they don’t know things for absolute certain I think it would be unfair to suggest they aren’t at least giving us information that comes from very reliable sources, I think they’ll be on the money when it comes to these rumours as well.
Maybe but the rumour mill had them announcing it a few weeks back and it turned out to be Metallica, I was under the impression they weren't going to tour for a very long time and that they were taking an extended hiatus however I won't mind been proved wrong.

No, Innocence. They'll probably decide that people who have ongoing subscriptions for 2 or more years are Experience. This was like that the last time at least. I suspect anyone signing up now to fall in Innocence.

Hmmmm might not be worth it considering it’s a stadium tour..
  3. It was they same with JTT 2017 tour. People who sign up short befor the tour start fell into the second group. Longterm members were those who signed up a some years ago.
I fell into first group with my subscription that I've started in Dec 2014 ( fori+e presale).
A friend who has started a subsription just short before they announced JTT fell into the 2nd group.

There has not been rumours this strong about an Aus tour since 360 so I remain cautiously optimistic haha
  5. Question - U2Songs states "We are told that tickets for the shows will start to go on sale the week of April 12" but the 12th is a Friday and I'm more familiar with references to a week using Monday - is this a common approach elsewhere in the world. Does he mean the week commencing the 8th or 15th?

Yes it is common. An announcement might be on the Monday with tickets on sale on Friday.

I don’t think u2songs ever suggested the announcement was going to be back then though and it was straight after the E&I tour finished that they mentioned this tour. So far summed up here’s where the rumours based on reliable sources stands

Tickets will go on sale week of April 12th
Announcement shortly before the sales begin

The order of the tour will go like this
    Auckland (8th &9th November)
    Brisbane (12th or 13th November)
    Melbourne
    Adelaide
    Sydney
    Perth
4 Asian cities including Tokyo and Singapore

As remy said plans can change at the last minute but I’m very confident that at this moment in time that is the official plan, now they just need to carry that plan through. I still wouldn’t book anything unless it was refundable but I’m expecting above to be correct. Anything further to that is likely nothing more than rumour without the reliable sources.

I wonder what the dates of the other cities could be.
During the past two tours downunder they had 3-5 day gaps between the concerts in different cities.
According to the rumours, this time it's supposed to be little time off between shows
