I didn't follow the rumors as much then, but this one seems to ha e traction, I'm still expecting something in the next few weeks. Still too early to dismiss in my opinion.

    waiting for April 12
  4. Elevation tour rumours for Europe in 2002 were all over the place. It was even on the cover page of the most popular newspaper in my country that U2 is coming for the first time here. That tour came real close to fruition (there were even promotional posters going around). Hopefully this won't be history repeating itself.
  5. Won't surprise me either way. They've never done a stand alone tour to just one region ever so I don't know why it'd happen now especially with exorbitant freight, service and logistical costs basically everywhere the rumours say they'll play. But surely somewhere inside the little bit of humanity they have left they must feel for their fans here after we've seen three tours go around the world since 2010

U2 has quite a history of tours that were almost certainly happening and did not happen, unfortunately

Lovetown was pretty much just Australia with a few Euro dates, no?......looked at the tour page, I stand corrected.

Think there was about 50 Lovetown shows so that’s quite a ‘standalone’ tour! Plus they were younger, touring a basic stage, etc.
  9. Let’s wait and be surprised in a positive way

I still count Lovetown as another legs of JT tour (same as Zooropa tour was part of Zoo TV)... similar setlist structure with more variations and new songs added.

I would say Lovetown was standalone- started nearly 2 years after the JT tour finished, different set, stage, etc. No question Zooropa was part of ZOO TV, definitely the same tour.

  12. It’s that real????!!
