1. The rumoured tour in Australia / South East Asia is far too short to delay working on a new album. Like everyone else I 'm excited at the thought of U2 touring again in December but would be even more excited at the thought of a new album coming down the track. Who knows maybe this tour could potentially be a platform to deliver new material.

It does not depend on the e-mail address, and I've also tried it with Australian IP address. It does not work..

Do your native account login details work? I'm pretty sure my ticketmaster.ie & ticketmaster.co.uk are accessed from the same account.
  3. I can ask my friend to use the login data of another country.
  4. You need a different account?

Like for different countries in Europe, different account for the US, etc
  5. Ticketmaster.com.au works fine here with my existing Ticketmaster email.
  6. Contemplating attending multiple cities for the first time here; any tips on how to secure tickets when they all go on sale at the same time? I'm used to selecting my venue and going through to checkout but have never attempted multiple venues.

(Pre)sales will start local time to the venue, so not all shows will go on sale at the same time. You preferably need different computers to make sure you land in different queues etc.
  8. Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne are in same time zone so will most likely go on sale at the same time unless TM are smart and stagger them, which they do. Have used multiple devices for a single show and thought that might be case .

The band would probably have just extended there break further if they weren’t to go on this tour. I think we can expect a 4-5 year break given that SOE was out at the end of 2017 I would be surprised if a new album was out before late 2021, the band would probably take breaks from recording in between that time so this tour really takes nothing away from a new album at all imo.

Indeed. I'd be happy to see them on the road again in 2019. And yes, it will take them another couple of years to produce new materials. They worked really hard on the last two albums, I don't think they are quite ready to go at it just yet.
