  9. after the mp3 conversion the levels of improvement almost dissapeared completely. I could not believe how much quality was lost going from lossless to mp3 (I could hear the difference on my laptop speakers!!) so if you ever want to try a lossless gig then try this one. The new links should still offer an upgrade for most though (higher bitrate, better bass etc).

    PS : The upgrade and original both have quite a bit of hiss so I would suggest listening in the car or burning to CD and listening through speakers. Much more enjoyable. Uploading now. .. .
  10. There's a lot of post over the last page that I want to respond to, but can't be arsed to copy and quote etc. Basically:

    Drew, I loved your post. Evidently you're not banned from the BRT and I agree completely that we have been able to discuss a controversial show without it getting ugly and nasty. That would have been all too easy and I think it says a lot about us that it didn't.

    Aussiemofo - you've made an excellent contribution to the BRT in only a fortnight, I agree with Drew

    Chris - nice review, and thanks for posting it

    Gerard - I agree, let's wait until the newest audio is up and all agree to download that. My copy is flawed for sure; there's interference on Zoo Station and the segue from EBTTRT to Mysterious Ways jumps to name but two. Hopefully this will iron that out.

    I'll re-post the summary to that effect.....
